Personal Training of the Injured Client |
Improve your skills in handling the client who has pain or injury |
Are you ready? |
Your client has developed shoulder pain...do you work through it, change their program or stop training. |
What do you do? |
Your client has had two back surgeries and quit physical therapy early. They want you to "rehabilitate" them. |
"I Want to Squat" |
Your client wants to include squats in their workouts, can you determine if they are safe to do so? |
Can you determine when your client is ready to progress to more challenging exercise programs? |
Personal training of the injured client is not a course to help the personal trainer provide rehabilitation services. It is designed to help recognize when it is not safe to work through pain, train using exercises in which the client is not capable and how to better prepare yourself for when the client presents with injuries. |
